Rag and Bones

That's the name of the statue we found as we entered the downtown business district.  It was created by a British sculptor, Laura Ford.

The city purchased the statue to bring attention to homelessness.  It has been at the corner of Drottninggatan and Strömgatan, where the tourists and the citizens can see it.  Its placement was the result of a public vote that wanted the little symbol of poverty to stand out to those who are in the most need of being reminded.
